How to tell iTunes where ALL the songs of a playlists are in the hard disk?
When I double click a song on a long playlist, it is not played. Instead, an admiration mark is placed on the left and I got the message:
"The song '...' could not be used because the original file could no be found. Would you like to locate it?"
I can locate it and then it plays, but I do want to do it for all the songs on the long playlist at once (I do not want to do it for 1,000 songs one-by-one!). Is that possible? I mean, to tell not just where one song is, but where the folder containing the full list of songs is.
Note: I know that I can drag and drop the song folder over a new playlist, but then I would lose my ratings and the sorting by "last song played". On the other hand, I have "iTunes/Preferences/Advanced/General" as:
Keep iTunes music folder organized <-- Selected
Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library <-- Not selected
Thanks.
