Hi,
I have downloaded the VLC Browser Plug-in (dmg file) but i have absolutely no idea how to install it in Safari (i am working on OS X Yosemite 10.10.3)
I believe that the solution is very simple however im a new mac user and i need to learn a lot.
Could someone help me please?

Double-click the dmg and drag the actual plugin to the /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder. If there’s an installer instead of a plugin file, double-click that and follow the onscreen instructions.

Thanks for a quick reply Neil, could you kindly describe how do i navigate to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder?
There is no installer, all i have is:
-VLC Plugin.plugin
-Internet Plug-Ins (folder)

Drag the plugin to the folder you see(it’s probably an alias) or choose Go to Folder from the Finder’s Go menu and supply that path.

Indeed it was an alias however is good to know how to navigate there 🙂
