I know old videos have poor quality to begin with, but after editing in imovie and exporting, quality is very degraded. Does anyone have any suggestions concerning importing and exporting to and from iMovie 11?

Hi Joe, thanks for answering my question. However, did not seem to find any info. concerning exporting for video that will be watched on a regular tv. Also, is there a faster way to export a LONG video in HD? So far, it's taking over 18 hours, and then doesn't finish the export.
