Mail app

Hi everyone!

I have an iPhone and an iPad, I've set up my email accounts on both of these devices through the mail app. I was wondering if there is a way to have any email read on one device, to show up read on another. For example, I use my iPhone most often when reading email, and I never leave messages unread, cause that just makes things easier for me. But when I go to my iPad it will show all of those messages as unread. Im planning on getting a MacBook, and I would like it if all my email apps worked with each other, so I won't have to mark messages as read every time I want to use a different device. Is there a way I could optimize my email to do this sort of thing?
