Jun 1, 2015 2:24 PM in response to s_w_i_t_t_e_r_sby sberman,Did you carefully follow its directions, in particular, signing in using your Apple ID on the iPhone before any other device? Did you sign out of the Apple ID on other devices before trying to use the iPhone's number?

Question: is it possible to set it up so that I receive messages sent to my mobile phone number in Messages on my computers, but I don't receive phone calls through Facetime on the computers? That's how I want to set it up.

Jun 1, 2015 3:22 PM in response to sbermanby s_w_i_t_t_e_r_s,Oops. I found the problem. Messages had been deactivated on my iPhone (which I wasn't aware of). That's why my phone number wasn't showing up on other devices. Thanks.

ApplicationsHi,
Yes to the FaceTime bit.
On the iPhone only use the iPhone Number and don't add the Apple ID.
On the Mac version don't add the iPhone Number.
Sometimes when you change the password for the Apple ID you will get a series of pop ups on both devices telling your to re-enter the password.
If the Apple ID gets added to the iPhone just deselect it.
Same for the iPhone Number in FaceTime of the Mac.
