Q: Match Not downloading all my ITunes songs from Cloud.

I’ve had ITunes Match for a couple of years, am paying for it, but had it turned off

on my IPod Touch. I turned it on now today on my IPod Touch.

But it is not loading all my ITunes songs from the ICloud onto my IPod Touch.

It’s only loading about 3/4 of the songs that are on my IMac ITunes playlists.

It should load them all.

I used to plug in my IPod Touch into my IMac and all

the songs from my IMac  ITunes would  sync onto my IPod Touch.

I would have the same amount of songs for each playlist

on my IPod Touch as I have in my IMac ITunes (maybe one or two less).

Now I turned on IMatch on my IPod Touch settings and only got about 3/4 of the ITunes songs that are on my IMac.

Automatic Match in my IPod settings is supposed to remove all the songs from my IPod Touch,

and then load them all back on from the Cloud. But not all are being loaded - only about 70-80% for each playlist.

What can I do? Should I go back to plugging in my IPod into my IMac and syncing all the songs? That worked and I got all the ITunes songs.

Should I turn IMatch off on my IPod Touch settings, and stop paying for IMatch?

I have an IMac, Yosemite OS, IPod Touch, latest IPod Touch OS, IMatch and ITunes

It seems that my more recent ITunes songs on my IMac are the 20-25% of songs

that did not get matched or loaded onto my IPod Touch.

    HI,

What is the iCloud status of the missing tracks? Have they been matched or uploaded?

I realized that some of my songs were not on the cloud, so I turned

on ITunes Match on my ITunes in my IMac. That helped.

However, this is the second time I tried using Match.

I also tried it a couple of years ago. Both times, this week and in the past,

I had all kinds of problems, and many of my songs were lost.

I think I'll go back to my old way of connecting my IPod Touch

to my IMac iTunes and manually syncing all my songs

from my IMac iTunes to my IPod Touch.

This Match program is a mess. Maybe it only

works with songs that were purchased from Apple ITunes

or some other similar place. Many of my songs that I download

from less established places do not get into the Cloud,

and disappear if I use Match. The songs are on my IMac ITunes,

but using Match and the Cloud to send songs to my IPod Touch

causes problems, including lost songs. I also lose songs

on my IMac/ ITunes,  but especially have problems sending songs to the IPod.

    I'll avoid Match.
