IPhone 6 frequently does not ring when a call is coming. Anyone know how to fi?

WWhen I have my ringer turned on my iPhone 6, it rarely rings, although I get an audio signal when someone leaves a voice mail. Any suggestions how to resolve this?

For starters, check Settings > Do Not Disturb
