Video app substitute

I have an iPad Air 2 and I would like to know if there is an app that is better than tIOS video app ? I have a bunch of videos on my Macbook Air that I like to watch on my iPad but when I import them, the video app is way too basic for me, especially the funny way Apple sorts titles. I need an app that will let me make different sort of searches. There must be such an app ! Right ?
