I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct community, but has anyone heard of Infotech Prism providing support for Apple users?

If not, why do you feel the Mac needs support?
I was just curious, as a friend of mine had somehow picked up some malware and it infected his Mac quite badly. He said that when he talked with Mac support they recommended using Infotech Prism? I told him that Mac's don't need antivirus protection, as long as the firewall was active and not shut off.
There is a 99.99999% chance that your friend did not talk to Apple support. It sounds like he chatted with one of the many scam tech support folks that simply want to install malicious software on the computer or obtain bank info.
