how do i find older purchase on itunes but I don't want to sync it to my iPod.

I want to find a way to stop my older purchases from syncing on to my iPod touch 5th gen. Please help.

iPod touch, iOS 7.0.1

Configure syncing so only marked songs are synced to the iPod. See:
