Thanks for getting in touch , unfortunately I do not have apple care but purchased this from the Apple store . My iMac once again switched off after sending this request for help .It's getting worse as I was only on it for 20mins today , before going to work . Apple had it in for tech guys to run tests but every time I get home the same fault occurs. This seems to be a common issue according to all the forums why are Apple once again ignoring this ?

You are not addressing Apple on these forums, they do not read or participate in any fashion. I suggest taking the machine back to the Apple Store that serviced it and letting them know what is going on.
