I cannot download my pre-ordered album? How do i check availability ?

So while back I read downloaded my first free download his album ever. And now that it's ready it's saying that I need to check the availability and I don't know how to do that on my iPad also why is it not letting me download the album saying that there is some type of error or something I don't really know if you have any suggestions please let me know

By 'saying that there is some type of error or something' you mean ... ? How are you trying to download it and what happens, if you are getting an error then what is the full text of the error message ?

If you've received an email saying that it's available and you've now paid for it (pre-orders are only charged for on release, not when pre-ordered) then does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for downloading ?
