Calendars, reminders and notes crash

After installing Photos, whenever I open Calendar, Reminders or Notes they crash instantly. I suspect something wrong with iCloud because I cannot load the iCloud preferences pane in system preferences. I don't have an iCloud account. Photos and Contacts apps open up fine on the other hand...
