Can the safari language be changed? the menu ... File, Edit, View... and all the options down the list... can all of this be changed? (to spanish)

did you logout/login after you set language?
safari and others... itunes, app store for example.. the menu for maps and pages too.. but the mac itself... finder for example is in spanish.. it works on the iphone... i switched that to spanish and even safari is in spanish... but on the macbook , no
Normally all apps should change to the language of your OS after you logout/login. What version of OS X are you using?
Yosemite, the latest one... Maybe that's the friggin problem
