I was burning data on a dvd using the in-built dvd drive on my MBP (Yosemite OS). It gave a disk error in between. After that the drive isn't accepting any DVD. It ejects it after about 15-20 seconds.
Please help.

I am sorry @cabakroll, I accidentally clicked on the 'Solved' option.
But I tried it out and it did not resolve my problem. I have also tried resetting NVRAM with no success.
It detects a Readonly CD. But not a writeable DVD, if that's of any help. I haven't yet run a lens cleaner CD which I am going to try next. But any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Will post if cleaning the Lens in the drive solved the issue.
