How do i turn off the screenshot sound? I just recently bought a new ipod touch 5th gen. i have no idea how to turn it off. I bought my ipod in Nebraska, USA.

I really hope you're joking. On an iPod, none of what you said actually exists. It may be "from the manual" but actually check what you're reading about before assuming that iPods have that switch. If you don't know how to help, keep your mouth shut

I really hope you're joking. Obviously, no polite, well brought up person would sign up to a forum for the sole purposes of resurrecting a thread that's been dormant for two years just to be rude and unpleasant unless it was a bad joke. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
From the manual:
Adjust the volume of the shutter sound with the Ringer and Alerts settings in Settings > Sounds. Or mute the sound using the Ring/Silent switch. (In some countries muting is disabled.)
