i joined wifi but cannot stay connected to internet

firstly, this part of the support forum is for Mac Pro's, not Macbook Pro's. this is a common mistake. in future, after choosing support, then click on mac,, then notebooks, not desktop computers. You're going to have to get some kind of wifi booster that plugs into your usb port. Bear extender makes one, but there are others you can get that have a longer antenna and plug into the usb port on your MacBook Pro.
