How can I keep the dock in sight at the bottom?

I would like to keep the dock in view at the bottom....do you know how I can set that up?

Pages-OTHER, iOS 7.1.2, Ipad

In System Preferences>Dock, uncheck 'Automatically hide and show the Dock'.
