iPhones in Windows DNS Management

Hi, just looking for some advice really.

I run a Windows AD domain and i have approx 40 people who all have company issued iPhones attached to our company WiFi.

I can see in my DHCP console that these devices are all getting IP addresses from our DHCP server and they are working fine, registering names in DHCP.

However i cannot seem to see them registering in DNS Management like all other devices, this is true of all the iPhones AND iPads that are attached to our wifi.

Is there an explanation behind this? I'm assuming its some incompatibility or difference between the Mac hardware and the was AD and DNS works?
