My airport express has problems with DynDns: How can I test if it works?

I use the airport express as a DSL-router. For remote access to my home LAN I have created a DynDns host - URL. I have entered the credentials for this in my airport express.

But it doesn't work! I get remote access only for e few days; then the provider (Kabel BW) changes its WAN address of my access point, and the remote access is gone.

With a product like the Fritz! Box the function can be tested, but with the airport express app it can't. At least I haven't found out. Who can help?

Apple does not work properly as a client for dyndns.. some people manage to get it working.. others not.

You can posit.. maybe wrongly that since they introduced BTMM for iCloud Apple ensured you were forced onto their system.

I recommend you keep the express for things it is really good at.. airplay for instance.. and buy a standard router with standard dyndns clients in it.
