Thunderbolt Drive Causing Windows To Hang During Boot.

I am currently running windows 7 Bootcamp on my mid-2012 running Mac 10.9.5. I bought a 1 TB Lacie Thunderbolt hard drive recently, and it doesn't want to work with me.

It functions perfectly when running in OSX and booting in OSX. From my understanding though, in order for the thunderbolt to function in windows, the computer must be turned on and booted in windows with the harddrive already plugged in.

Whenever I do so, it causes the boot order to automatically change and tries to boot from the harddrive and Windows "hangs" on a screen that's all black with a flashing underscore symbol. Unplugged, windows boots fine. I've tried to enter the emulated BIOS in windows, plugged it in, and booted windows normally.... nothing.

HELP
