Upload to what, exactly? The upstream communication is working, otherwise you wouldn't be able to pull anything down either as the ACK packets would never make it from your machine to the host you're getting data from.
What are the exact symptoms you're seeing?
I haven't been able to upload any kind of file, photo or video, without the connection timing out. When I try to call up a web page, there's a long delay before the page finally comes very quickly. It leads me to believe that my upload speeds are compromised.

Are you using wireless connection? Change over to ethernet..
Or visa versa.. test it the other way around and turn off the other connection.
Speeds can be fast in one direction and slow in the other due to issues with wireless or ethernet cabling.

Is it running as the router or just modem?
What is the main router?
How is the iMac connected?
Well, I just got off the phone with Apple and realized that I was running 10.10.4 beta. The problem started with the installation of this OS, so I'm figuring the answer is in there somewhere.

I'm getting great download speeds -- near 100mbps -- on my iMac. But haven't been able to upload anything. It's not my ISP, because my other computers are fine. Is it possible I've got a software glitch? Or are we talking hardware here?
