iCloud and iCloud email servers appears to be down but it isn't showing so on the status page.

Maybe the email server is separate and still not up....

Just as I sent the message about it being down in Chicago, it came back up.
Same with Richmond. It appears to be working again... I guess the System Status page is going to pretend it never happened.
oh well... Maybe they just forgot to feed the AppleBeast that live in their server room.
I was down here in Texas, but am back up now. I logged into IC on my Big Mac.
Still down for me in the UK. Cant sync my notes from my mac to my iPhone or send emails. Really annoying!
