I am a community access volunteer and I videoed a concert. I would like to copy a small clip of the audio from my time line to my opening sequence. My audio and video are separated in the timeline. This seems like a no brainer but I am darned if I can figure out how to do it. Any help appreciated.

There are multiple ways to make a selection. Probably the simplest is to use the range tool. Then copy the clip, Move the playhead where you want the copied clip to begin and paste.

Thanks, Russ and Tom. I think I just have anxiety about messing with the audio and what you described is what I did.
