I try to name my group message group but nothing appears for it to name the group I need help ?

You can name group iMessage threads. While viewing a conversation, tap Details, in the upper right. Then drag down and enter the name in the Group Name field.

From my experience, you can only name groups that are composed entirely of iMessage users. If any members of the group are not using iPhones, you can't name the group.
