How do I go about converting 8mm and Beta films over to DVD using my Mac?
Do I need to buy separate software than what I used for VHS tapes?

On what Mac with what versions of OS X and iMovie?
I have an '11 Macbook Pro--- Yosemite OS X and whatever the lastest imovie download there was from the app store.
