After trying to add a couple of songs, all of my music on my iPhone (save the ones that were purchased on iCloud) was deleted. This isn't the first time it has happened either. Why, itunes? Any ideas why this happened, anybody?

You should select everything that you want to be on the iPhone and sync.
Yup, selected all the ones I wanted and then dragged them over and syncing began. I wanted to delete some of the purchased songs that had a dotted circle on the side but then my bar went from a full iPhone library to only the ones I had purchased.
Are you trying to sync from a different computer? An iPhone can only sync music from one computer. If you connect it to a different computer it will be erased and it content replaced with content from the most recent computer.
Nope, same computer. I have it set to manually add music so it doesn't add the ones I don't want.
