iCloud down but not reported on Apple Support site.

iCloud down but not reported on Apple Support site. At 11:02 AM Central Time Apple's Support site https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

indicates that everything is up and online. However, I can't get any iCloud email or login to iCloud in Safari or Firefox. Two other sites indicate that iCloud is having issues since 11:16 AM EDT in the US and Europe.

Why doesn't Apple report the problem on its own site. Perhaps they can't?

Plus I waited for almost forty minutes, listening to one inane message after another every ten seconds, and then was abruptly cut off. I am hating Apple support right now.

Apparently nothing is the problem any longer. After forty minutes waiting on the phone for no one to answer, everything is running again. I guess the guy who (must) manually change the status symbols online was on break for those forty minutes! 😉

Thank you for this format…I, too am having mail issues with ICLOUD…does not recognize my password…hmmm can apple PLEASE notify the general public of these issues… frustrating when a green guy changes passwords etc etc etc thinking it's his error when in fact it's ICLOUD/APPLE that's having the issue.

I didn't scroll down and see the timeline but still they should have indicated the problems with some of the green icons changed to yellow if not red.
