I have downloaded Office 365 but cannot connect to sharepoint. Can someone help with configuration?

I just spent the last ten minutes since you posted this searching the Microsoft Website. From what I can see, SharePoint requires Windows. If you are trying to use it in a Windows partition, then I suggest as KiltedTim said, to contact Microsoft support for assistance. Seems with Office 365, if you have purchased SharePoint that entitles you to free support.
