Yes, if you have clock set to Push alerts in the Watch app on your iPhone, and your iPhone is locked you will receive a vibration/haptic touch on your watch as well as an alert and a screen display letting you snooze or dismiss the alarm.

Yes, it does. If you set the alarm on the watch and set the watch on mute, it will vibrate when the alarm goes off. The bigger issue is that if you wear the watch all night so that the alarm wakes you in the morning, you'll be waking to a watch with partially depleted battery.

I prefer not to have my naps interrupted. But I use it a lot to remind me to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer.
