iPhone Remote App Won't Recognize Apple TV

The Issue

iPhone, iPad won't recognize Apple TV in the Remote app. When I launch the app on my devices, I am only able to see my connected library's. NOT the Apple TV.

Thinks that make me wonder

• I'm able to AirPlay from any of my devices and computers
• Apple TV is connected to the internet (able to watch youtube videos and purchase content)
• The Apple TV is connected via ethernet cable

What I've Done Thus Far

• Made sure all devices are up-to-date — Check
• Restarted all devices (wireless router, apple tv, iphone, ipad, computer) — Check
• Read apples article Remote app for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can't connect to iTunes or Apple TV - Apple Support — Check
• Home Share has been turned off and then back on each device

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really scratching my head on this one. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
