A friend has had her IPhone stolen while traveling in Europe. I was able to go into her icloud site and click on "erase phone." I notice there is also an option to "remove from account." I did not click that because I have seen a warning that if the phone is removed from account then any pending actions (such as the pending ease?) will not be performed. Am I correct in NOT clicking "remove from account?"
Yes do NOT click "Remove from account" this will cause the iPhone to be unlinked from the iCloud account causing the data not to be erased.

@wegras Thank you. Yes, that is a good link. I had already seen it. I was still confused because the instructions there did not address the question as to whether the "remove from account" should or should not be clicked. Thanks again.
