I just bought a fifth generation ipod with video. I have a fourth gen. All of my songs are in my itunes library and ipod are on my fourth gen ipod . How do I just transfer all of the songs to my new fifth gen. ipod? Somebody help me please. For some reason my New iPOD isn't recognizing anything I have in my library.
Okay,I have itunes 7 already, Library has 1500 songs in it(from my previous 4 generation ipod). All I want to do is simply take the songs from the library and switch it to my new 30 g ipod. but for some reason when I go to sync nothing happens?
Okay,I'm that close to getting my music, When I connect my new 30g ipod all that I'am getting is the drive that ipod is connected to (Drive E)with the folders Contact, Notes and Calendar?
Your IPOD has to be seen by ITunes.
That has to be accomplished before completing the music transfer.
Somewhere you miss doing a procedure correctly or overlooked the problem.
Again make sure all your Windows XP files have been updated.
Ensure battery is Okay.
Do a manual Reset on IPOD--by selecting
Menu and Center simultaneously, for about 6 seconds.
You may have to do this several times.
Re-try IPOD connection to ITunes.
_______________ If you still have problems you may have to Remove your ITunes software by using Windows ADD/REMOVE program.
Then Re-download ITunes 7.0 or later.
