Because it doesn't show any reaction, but as I turned it on again, it showed me that it has charged a little. 😟
So I wanted to know if it was bad for my Ipad to charge it while it is off 😮
I hope you can help me, I am totally new to an Ipad, I never had one before. My old Ipod always showed me a charging symbol, so I am a little confused about the Ipad Air 2.

You can charge your iPad while it is powered down. It will not hurt anything. You will not see the charging symbol, though. The iPad has to be turned on in order to see that.

How are you charging it? With the supplied charger or by connecting it to your computer? It is not bad to charge it when it is turned off or on. There is a charging symbol on the screen in the upper right corner.
You're welcome. I charge my iPads when they powered down, and when they are turned on. No problems either way.
I charge it with the supplied charger, but when it is turned off I only see the black screen, no charging symbol at all 😮

That is correct. You will only see the charging symbol if the iPad is on. However, even though you don't see the symbol, the iPad is still charging.
