Safari pages won't load; I have "turn wifi off" "turn wifi on"

While using Safari, the pages keep loading slower and slower until finally, they just stop loading. (Specifically they loading about 1/8 of the way through and then stop loading). In order to flush whatever seems to be incrementally plugging up my downloads seems to be cleared by my successively turning the WIFI off and on. This fix used to be effective for some time however, it must now be successively implemented to be effective.

I am on an iMAC running Yosemite 10.10.3, Safari 8.0.6.

iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Safari 8.0.6
