My iPhone 5 photo library is taking up 3.6 GB despite the fact that I only have 31 photos on my device. How do I fix this? Because I really need the extra space.

I deleted like 100 photos, and only have 31 photos, no videos, and the storage still won't budge, how do I clear/ get ride of all this space being taken up? It is taking up 3.6 GB...

iPhone 5, iOS 8.3, 12.6 GB space

Go to Settings/General/About. How many photos does it show you have? If it isn't 31 then you need to find where they are. First place to look is the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app. If it's more than 31 and they are NOT in the Recently Deleted see: Why does my iOS device say I have more photos than I can find?
