Get a refund for an app purchase

Why is it so difficult to do this in the Apple ecosystem? I made a purchase and almost immediately uninstalled it(within 5 minutes) because it wasn't what I was looking for. Why cant I uninstall and get refund from the same button I installed it from rather than going into the Applications folder and deleting it? Just seems clunky. Unless of course, I missed something and at this point I am a bit frustrated. So please, if anyone could shed some light on how to get a refund, it would be appreciated. I hope it doesn't involve a call to Apple Support. Thank you for your help!

Apple didn’t set it up that way, and deleting it manually won’t get you a refund, as it’ll remain available to be downloaded from Apple’s servers. You need to contact Apple to possibly get the refund.

Thank you Niel,

I know deleting it manually doesn't really do anything as far as refunds are concerned. I was hoping I wouldn't have to contact for such a trivial matter. I am aware that Apple didn't set it up that way, however it would be a lot easier for their clientele if they did. I was kinda praying I had missed some easier way than contacting Apple support. Thank you again for your quick response!
