Locked out of ipod

Hello I forgot the passcode for my ipod so I decided to reset it. When I reset it, it said that I need the icloud info that I used when I first got the ipod. It says S...........@hotmail.com and I only have one hotmail account. When I try to use it, it doesn't work. When I tried to sign it to remove it from my icloud it said that the email was never used at apple. So I have no idea what to do because its basically like I never had the account.
