I buyed my friend's iphone 4s and i restored my device and i cant go through the activation... i dont have any sim card... What can i do now?

You will need a SIM card. There is no way around that. If the phone is locked to a carrier, you'll need a SIM from that carrier. If it's unlocked, any SIM will do. Note that the SIM doesn't have to be active.
Hi BaskaZoo, it depends on what carrier the iPhone 4S is registered to. If you have Sprint and the iPhone is a Sprint phone, they can activate the phone without a SIM card or they could send you one. The iPhone does not have to be Sprint, but unless it's unlocked, it will only work with a specific carrier.

don't worry about it, and ignore that post.
As already explained, you must have a SIM card in the phone to activate it.
