Q: Connecting 2 iMacs

Hello,

I have a 21inch 2011 imac, and now got a 27in 5k 2015. I would like to use the 21inch as an additional screen for the 27inch. What would I need to do cable wise, and is there another way without cables?

You need to connect them with a Thunderbolt cable and then press Command and F2 on the older iMac; click here for more information. Doing it without cables would require setting up a network and using Virtual Network Computing; this will likely be slower.
