I want to reload 2.0.1 Mac onto a ipod running 2.0.5 Mac from a itunes on a PC

I have an older macBook it runs OS X 10.5.8 and iTunes 10.6.3 (25)

I cannot update this iTunes nor can I update the macBook.

Problem is that I got a new (to me) iPod 160Gig, A1238 EMC 2173 apparently 7th generation.

it runs 2.0.5 Mac.... think it run 2.0.5 PC.

I Have a iPod that is runnning 2.0.1 MAC.

It can talk to my older macBook.

I have loaded itunes onto my PC but do not want to move all my tunes from MAC to PC.

This version can talk to the iPod.

I perhaps screwed myself by having it restarted...

Now it shows it has version 2.0.5 PC

I really want to load 2.0.1 MAC but I think I can only do this from the PC.

I dont' really want to buy a new macBook.
