I have created a spreadsheet with the first column as titles. how to i keep this column forming as i scroll across the spreadsheet?

I think you are wanting to freeze header columns.

We might need to include that they must also specify the number of columns that are to be considered Header columns in that same drop down. And if they designate more than just one column they all will freeze.
In excel, Header columns dont really exist as types, you can click on any column and freeze it and everything to the left will not scroll. In Numbers they must be called out as Header columns first.
