My sleep/wake button is broken on my iphone 5 and my keyboard isnt working, so how do i fix it?

Everytime I go to type something no matter what i'm opening up... An App or just my messages my keyboard comes up, but it doesn't work. I'll try to type and it wont type. Everything just freezes. My lock button is messed up at the top so I cant turn my phone off and back on. Any suggestions?
