Family sharing items not showing up in iTunes

Does anybody have any suggestions how to make Family sharing actually work???

I have the account set up properly as it works for some Apps but I cannot see Films and TV shows purchased on my husbands account (he is the Family account holder). I have signed in and out multiple times, checked for available downloads and we are running the same OS and versions of iTunes.

When I actually go to purchase a show or film that my husband has purchased iTunes says that its 'part of the family shared content' but i cannot see it at all on my computer.

Any thoughts ?
