iTunes in the cloud for mac and iPhone

Hi,

I am interested in putting my Macbook library in the cloud, so as to make space, but, I would like to keep my library "not in the cloud" on my iPhone. Is this possible? I know a little about iTunes match but am worried that when I sync my phone to my mac it'll put everything in the cloud. Also, is it yet possible to put my movies in the cloud as these are the things taking up so much space.
