GROUP Contacts won't work on iPad mini or iPad 2 when synced from Mac mini. Book Group shows "Invalid email address" for instance.Any ideas ?

GROUP Contacts won't work on iPad mini or iPad 2 when synced from Mac mini. e.g.: (Book Group) shows "Invalid email address" for instance.Any ideas ? ALL other contacts are fine, just my GROUPS don't work. Driving me nuts. I have restored the iPad mini to no avail so suspect a problem with the Mac mini.

Help Please !

If you're trying to group email you can't group email from an iPad without a third party app. Mailshot is one that I've seen suggested.

Thank You bobseufert ! WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T APPLE TELL ME THIS IN THE iOS8 USER GUIDE ?? I just wonder how many other people have struggled with this problem around the world.

Mind you, I don't remember having the problem on my old iPad 2 before iOS8, so maybe it is just the upgrade.

You're welcome. I don't believe there was a change. From what I know you can have groups in Contacts, you just can't email them as a group. i could always be wrong. If it worked differently on IOS 7 we'll have to wait until someone else can clarify the matter.
