problem connecting to app store in Ireland-i can't update my apps

I never had problem getting apps and connecting to my app store in Ireland.But since a week ago, whenever I try to get an app or do try to do an update it switches to the Canadian app store and tells me that I my apple id is connected to the Ireland store.That part is correct since I live in Ireland.But why can't I get apps and update my apps like before? Please help.
