I was wondering if Apple TV content and download options are linked to the country you're IN or to the country where your account is set to. I have a US iTunes/Apple account but I'm moving to Luxembourg -- so will my Apple TV (if I get one) be set to the American settings, where I can buy TV shows for example, or to Luxembourg's where I cannot? Any help would be appreciated -- thank you!
You'll need to convert your account to a Luxembourg account. Which you can do in your account settings, you'll need a zero balance before you an do this.
Thanks for taking the time to respond Mr Churchill. Could you perhaps clarify your response -- you suggest that it is impossible to even use Apple TV in Luxembourg with an American iTunes account? This is what I would understand by "need" -- in fact, I have no urge to change to a Luxembourgish iTunes account if I don't have to, because the benefits of the US one are greater. I'll continue to have a permanent residence / billing address etc. in the US.

Your license doesn't allow you to do that from a legal stand-point. It may well work the way you want it to, but they have the right to block your account at any time if you use it that way.
OK, thanks for the clarification. This doesn't surprise me -- I will have to decide if it's worth getting an Apple TV based on what's possible with a Luxembourgish account. Cheers Winston.
