iOS 8.3 iPad 2 Safari has reversed its search bar colours to white on black. I can find no Settings to correct this. I also found that the box I am now typing into won't work on the iPad because the text setting seems to be white on white. I am using a Windows PC to type this.
And this site is a pig to use.

You may have turned on "Private Browsing" mode. See here: Turn Private Browsing on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
or you may have reversed colors on your iPad. See Settings > General > Accessibility > Invert Colors
You might have gone into Private browsing mode, that will invert the menubar's colours ; tap the icon top right of Safari (the two squares), and tap Private on the next screen to turn it off.
Thank you both. The Safari Private Browsing mode was the one. I didn't even know it existed.
