Q: Trouble with mail

Hi

So, I'm a complete mess when it comes to computers, I really tried fixing this but got nowhere.
Sorry for my very non-computer-y-lingo...

Anyways, I updated my computer to Yosemite just a couple of weeks ago. After doing this my mac mail started going bananas.

1) It keeps asking for passwords for all of my different gmail-accounts repeatedly - how do I stop this!?

2) In some of my folders that I made within my accounts I can no longer read the e-mails - I can see them there, but there's just no text in them, I can however see them if I log in to my gmail-accost online. Why is this? How do I solve it?

Thanks a LOT!
Anna

Take a look at these support articles and follow the steps from them:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203192

    http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/os-x-on-keychains-first-aid

You may also need these steps:

    - Shut down your Mac

    - Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the Power button

    - Right after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key

    - Release the Shift key when you see a grey Apple sign and the progress bar below this sign

    - Once you see Desktop, start a Disk Utility scan to detect and repair file system errors (don't forget to choose your main hard drive)

    - Click on Verify Disc and then, if asked to fix problems, on Repair Disk

    - After this, click on Verify Disk Permissions and then on Repair Disk Permissions

    - After the process is finished, shut down your Mac and turn it back on after about 30 seconds

    Hope this helps!
